Acrylic Curing Units

Acrylic curing units process packed denture flasks through controlled heat, and often pressure, to polymerize PMMA acrylic resin into a finished denture base. Available as water-bath, dry-heat, or pressure-pot systems, they convert the monomer-polymer dough into a dimensionally stable, biocompatible solid while minimizing residual monomer and porosity. Curing is a core step in the complete and partial denture workflow, following flasking and packing and preceding deflasking, finishing, and polishing. Cycle time and temperature directly affect denture fit, strength, and patient comfort, making a reliable curing unit essential to consistent laboratory output.
