Ceramic Palettes
Ceramic palettes are mixing dishes, typically with multiple recessed wells, used by ceramists to blend porcelain powders with modeling liquid and shape stains or glaze pigments before application to a restoration. Their design supports controlled, contamination-free mixing of dentin, enamel, and effect porcelains needed for accurate shade layering, and reusable palettes are cleaned between shades to prevent color cross-contamination. As a simple but essential consumable in the hand-layering stage of ceramic restoration fabrication, palette quality and well organization support consistent, repeatable porcelain application across a laboratory's case volume.
