Dental Laboratory Lathes

Dental laboratory lathes are motor-driven bench units fitted with polishing wheels, brushes, and mounted abrasives, used to grind, contour, and polish prosthetic and restorative components. Common applications include shaping denture bases, polishing acrylic and metal frameworks, and achieving the final high-shine finish on removable and fixed prosthetics before delivery. Variable-speed, dual-spindle lathes let technicians move between coarse grinding and fine polishing efficiently, typically paired with dust extraction to manage debris. As a finishing-stage workhorse, the lathe is used in nearly every laboratory's daily production workflow.
